In light of Egypt hosting the Arab Financial Institutions Meetings and the 59th Meetings of Specialized Arab Union Federations Operating under the Council of Arab Economic Unity (CAEU), Dr. Rania Al Mashat, Minister of International Cooperation: Establishment of the Arab Court of Arbitration in Egypt embodies Joint Arab Action to Promote Trade, Economy and Investment among Arab Countries.
Dr. Rania Al Mashat, Minister of International Cooperation, affirmed that the establishment of the Arab Court of Arbitration, based in Cairo, is a manifestation of joint Arab action and will enhance the movement of trade, economy, and investment among Arab countries.

Minister of International Cooperation Meets with Chief of UN Global Compact Africa to Explore Joint Cooperation Opportunities and Integrate Initiatives Aimed at Empowering the Private Sector and Promoting Sustainability Principles
Dr. Rania Al-Mashat, Minister of International Cooperation, met with Ms. Tolulope Lewis Tamoka, Chief of the UN Global Compact Africa, where the meeting witnessed the exploration of areas of joint cooperation between the government and the UN Global Compact, within the framework of the strong partnership between the Arab Republic of Egypt and the United Nations and the implementation of the Strategic Partnership Framework for the period 2023-2027.

During the activities of the second day of meetings of Arab financial institutions, which were held in the New Administrative Capital, Dr. Rania Al-Mashat, Minister of International Cooperation, participated in a discussion session on “Macro-financial policies to manage shocks and build resilience in an uncertain environment” which discussed the successive shocks to which the region was exposed, and the high rates of global inflation, commodity price volatility, geopolitical tensions, trade disruptions, and the importance of designing fiscal and monetary policies and policies needed to build resilience.

The Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development (AFESD) announced that the BBahr El-Baqar Wastewater Treatment Plant won the Abdul Latif Al-Hamad Award presented by the AFESD, for the best development project in the Arab world, becoming the second Egyptian project to win that award after the South Helwan Electricity Generating Station won that award in last year’s editions.

Al-Mashat Participates in Opening of the 1st Edition of the “United Nations Global Compact Annual Forum: Pathways to Sustainable Africa” of the UN Global Compact
H.E.
