Within the framework of following up on the implementation of the outcomes of the second workshop | The Ministry of International Cooperation holds a meeting with the participation of national entities, UN agencies, and development partners to follow up on the design of project proposals for the second workshop on technology and innovation.

Within the framework of implementing the project proposals and ideas of the second workshop within the joint initiative between the government and the United Nations Joint Team for Digital Transformation and Innovation (UN-JTDI), which was held last November, the Ministry of International Cooperation held a meeting in the presence of representatives of the Ministries of Transport, Water Resources and Irrigation, and Communications and Information Technology , representatives of United Nations agencies, the private sector, entrepreneurs, and academics.

Minister of International Cooperation H.E. Dr. Rania A. Al-Mashat Witnesses Signing of Grant Agreement Worth $8.3 million between the Japanese Embassy and the WHO to Support National Efforts in Providing Medical Needs to the Gaza Strip

The Minister of International Cooperation H.E. Dr. Rania Al-Mashat witnessed the signing of a grant agreement between the Japanese Embassy in Cairo and the World Health Organization (WHO), worth $8.3 million, to support the development and meeting the needs of hospitals in the border governorates in Egypt, thus enhancing their ability to provide medical needs and supplies to people in Gaza. This is within the framework of the efforts undertaken by the Egyptian state in coordination with various international partners to confront the humanitarian crisis that the Gaza Strip is going through.

Minister of International Cooperation H.E. Dr. Rania A. Al-Mashat Meets with IFC Regional Director on Efforts to Improve the Business Environment & Provide More Financial and Non-financial Services to the Private Sector

The Minister of International Cooperation H.E. Dr. Rania A. Al-Mashat held a meeting with Sarvesh Suri, Regional Industry Director for Infrastructure and Natural Resources in Africa for the International Finance Corporation (IFC), in the presence of IFC's Director for North Africa and Horn of Africa Sheikh Omar Sylla. This meeting is within the framework of following up on partnership projects with the IFC, which aims to empower the private sector, through concessional development financing and contributions, as well as technical support to various parties, in addition to the IFC’s role as a consultant to the government in implementing the government proposal program.
