During her visit to the United States of America, the Minister of International Cooperation and Governor of Egypt at the World Bank Group H.E. Dr. Rania A. Al-Mashat held a bilateral meeting with the President of the World Bank, Ajay Banga and the Managing Director and World Bank Group Chief Financial Officer, Anshula Kant, within the framework of bilateral relations and the continuous development of joint work between Egypt and the World Bank.

The Ministry of International Cooperation Signed 2 Grants Worth $19 million within the Framework of the Bilateral Cooperation Program with Switzerland

The Ministry of International Cooperation announced the signing of two grants worth $19 million with Switzerland. The grants are to benefit the Ministry of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, in implementing the second phase of the drinking water management program in Upper Egypt and the sludge management project in Beni Suef.

Yesterday, the World Bank mission began with visiting Egypt to hold several meetings with government agencies to discuss aspects of technical cooperation with the government regarding the implementation of the state ownership policy document and benefiting from the best international practices in managing state-owned assets. The mission’s work continues until the end of this week.
