Coinciding with the Visit of the Minister of International Cooperation, H.E. Dr. Rania A. Al-Mashat, to the EIB's Headquarters; The Ministry of International Cooperation reviews a report on the most prominent partnerships between the Arab Republic of Egypt and the European Investment Bank (EIB), one of the largest multilateral development partners.
The Minister of International Cooperation, H.E. Dr. Rania A. Al-Mashat, is visiting the headquarters of the EIB, the financing arm of the European Union and the Climate Bank for Europe and one of the largest multilateral development partners of the Arab Republic of Egypt, in light of the close and historical relations with the EIB. This is the first visit since the new President of the Bank, Nadia Calvino, assumed her new position.

The Minister of International Cooperation and Governor of Egypt at the World Bank Group (WBG), H.E. Dr. Rania A. Al-Mashat, said that the Grand Egyptian Museum obtaining the EDGE green building certificate as the first museum in Africa and the Middle East reflects the approach adopted by the country to pave the way towards a more sustainable future, adopt environmental standards, and expand efforts of transition to a green economy.
