Dr. Rania Al-Mashat, Minister of International Cooperation, Signs 8 Development Grants worth $130 Million with U.S. Ambassador
H.E. Dr. Rania Al-Mashat, Minister of International Cooperation, signed 8 developmental grant agreements totaling $130 million with Ambassador Herro Mustafa Garg, the US Ambassador to Egypt, under the framework of the Joint Economic Relations Program between the two countries. This enhances developmental cooperation efforts to support the implementation of the state's developmental vision across various sectors and encourages sustainable development efforts. The signing ceremony was attended by Mr. Sean Jones, the new Mission Director of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) in Egypt.

H.E. Dr. Rania Al-Mashat, Minister of International Cooperation and Egypt's Alternate Governor to the New Development Bank (NDB), received H.E. Ms. Dilma Rousseff, President of the New Development Bank (NDB) and former President of Brazil, at the Ministry's headquarters in the New Administrative Capital. They held a bilateral meeting ahead of the inaugural seminar of the bank, scheduled to commence tomorrow, Tuesday. The meeting witnessed discussions on areas of cooperation and opportunities available to enhance mutual economic relations, within the framework of the New Development Bank's strategy to enhance relations with developing countries and emerging economies, as well as national priorities and concerns.
