During the EBRD Annual Meeting: Al-Mashat discusses with the President of the EBRD the preparations for the investment conference with the European Union & calls on the Bank to expand financing the private sector
Dr. Rania Al-Mashat, Minister of International Cooperation and Governor of Egypt at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), held a discussion session with Ms. Odile Renaud Basso, President of the EBRD, to discuss developments in the strategic partnership and the efforts made to advance development efforts, especially in light of enhancing relations between Egypt and the EU, reflecting on the the visit of the President of the European Commission to Egypt last March.

Minister of International Cooperation Dr. Rania Al-Mashat Witnesses the Climate Finance Accelerator (CFA) Second Cohort Graduation of 9 Startups in Cooperation with the British Embassy and the Flat6Labs business incubator.
The Minister of International Cooperation H.E. Dr. Rania A. Al-Mashat witnessed the “Climate Finance Accelerator (CFA) Second Cohort Graduation for 9 startup companies. This is implemented in cooperation between the British Embassy in Egypt and the Flat6Labs business incubator, within the framework of the international partnership between the Arab Republic of Egypt and the United Kingdom, which aims to provide £10 million worth of technical assistance to 10 countries to support climate action start-ups.

Preparatory work begins for the 32nd session of the Egyptian-Jordanian Joint Higher Committee: A new step towards strengthening joint relations
Today, in Cairo, the preparatory work for the 32nd session of the Egyptian-Jordanian Joint Higher Committee begins, which will be held from May 7-9. This committee is one of the main mechanisms through which the Arab Republic of Egypt and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan work to enhance their economic, trade, investment, and cultural relations. This reflects the shared history and close ties between the two countries. The regular convening of the committee demonstrates the commitment of the leadership of both countries to further expanding cooperation at various levels.

At the conclusion of its two-day work, Dr. Rania Al-Mashat, Minister of International Cooperation, held a meeting with members of the high-level technical mission of the European Union in the context of discussing economic and structural reform measures within the framework of the macroeconomic support mechanism and budget deficit support. This was in the presence of representatives of the Central Bank, The Ministry of Finance, and Ambassador Christian Berger, Head of the European Union Delegation to Egypt.

This is especially in light of the measures implemented by the Government of Egypt to strengthen the path of economic and structural reform in order to advance the recovery of the economy and achieve comprehensive and sustainable growth.
