The Ministry of International Cooperation Announces List of Finalists in the ClimaTech Run Competition to Participate in COP27

The Ministry of International Cooperation announced the shortlist of the startups that qualified for the finals in the ClimaTech Run 2022 competition, which will be participating in COP27’s Youth Day, held in Sharm El-Sheikh.

During Next Week’s COP27 in Sharm El-Sheikh: Signing a number of low-cost sustainable green financing to stimulate private sector engagement with joint investments and a blended finance approach, all within the framework of the country platform for the NWFE Program.

In light of Egypt’s COP27 Presidency, and in line with the Government of Egypt’s commitment to increase cooperation with multilateral and bilateral partners, the Ministry of International Cooperation announced 3 main activities during the upcoming climate conference to promote joint action and advance comprehensive and sustainable development efforts within the country.

Ahead of the Final Preparations for COP27: High International & Regional Turnout for the ClimaTech Run 2022: A Competition for Startups & Digital Artists

The ClimaTech Run 2022 competition, launched by the Ministry of International Cooperation, the Ministry of Environment, and the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, along with development partners and the private sector. The launch witnessed a high turnout by international and regional startups working in the field of climate technology, as well as digital artists, all in preparation of the COP27 in Sharm El-Sheikh.
