The Minister of International Cooperation H.E. Dr. Rania A. Al-Mashat is heading to Luxembourg, to visit the headquarters of the European Investment Bank (EIB), the financing arm of the European Union (EU). This is within the framework of the strategic relationship between Egypt and the EIB, aiming to strengthen bilateral cooperation and to discuss future partnerships between both sides.
During the visit, the Minister will hold a number of bilateral meetings with senior leaders of the EIB. Al-Mashat will also participate in a panel discussion titled “Investing in Net Zero: Leading the Way Conference", organized by the EIB, the EIB Institute, and the European University Institute (EUI).
The panel will address the best practices in the areas of energy transition as well as innovation, which are critical to combating the challenges associated with climate change, including a conversation on Egypt’s COP27 Presidency.
