H.E. Minister of Planning, Economic Development, and International Cooperation Discusses Cooperation with Chairman of Saudi German Hospitals Group

H.E. Rania Al-Mashat: Egyptian-Saudi relations are deep and enduring, built on historical ties between the leadership, governments, and peoples of both nations.

H.E. Dr. Rania Al-Mashat, Minister of Planning, Economic Development, and International Cooperation, met with Eng. Sobhi Batterjee, Chairman of the Saudi German Hospitals Group, to explore ways to strengthen mutual cooperation. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the World Health, Population, and Human Development Conference, organized by Egypt’s Ministry of Health and Population.

At the outset, H.E. the Minister emphasized the strategic depth of relations between the Arab Republic of Egypt and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. She highlighted that the historical bonds between the two brotherly nations provide a solid foundation for enhancing bilateral cooperation.

H.E. Al-Mashat noted that these distinguished relations are reflected in the scale of trade and investment between Egypt and Saudi Arabia, as well as in the commitment of both sides to expand development partnerships that serve the interests of their peoples and advance sustainable development in the region.

Eng. Sobhi Batterjee expressed his deep appreciation for Egypt, emphasizing that the country’s stability and security serve as a key pillar for attracting investment and supporting future expansion plans.

He also praised the significant efforts of H.E. President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi in maintaining regional security and stability, while advancing Egypt’s national development agenda.

Representatives of the Saudi German Hospitals Group further stressed that Egypt’s comprehensive development achievements since 2014 reflect a clear strategic vision and a strong national determination to advance sustainable development.
