Today, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi attended Egypt's Forum for International Cooperation and Development Finance in the New Administrative Capital.
The Spokesman for the Presidency said the Forum includes multiple major axes as part of efforts to mobilize resources and financing for the climate change agenda and its repercussions. It will also review national efforts and measures taken in this regard. The Forum’s primary objective is to move from the commitment phase to the implementation phase and transform financial commitments into real opportunities. It will also include a round table for promoting investible projects in Egypt ahead of their presentation at the World Climate Summit in Sharm El Sheikh next November. Attending the Forum are African Ministers of Finance, Economy and Environment, as well as a host of senior officials, international figures, developmental partners, international financial institutions, representatives of civil society and think tanks and research institutes.
