H.E. Dr. Rania A, Al-Mashat, Minister of Planning, Economic Development, and International Cooperation, met with youth representatives from the World Youth Forum during the Summit of the Future, which took place amid the high-level week of UNGA79 in New York.
H.E. Al-Mashat emphasized the crucial role that youth play in the Egyptian state, highlighting that they are not only the backbone of the nation but also the foundation of its strength and resilience. She stated that the approval of the World Youth Forum’s participation in the Summit of the Future serves as a testament to the Forum’s unwavering commitment to supporting the United Nations’ objectives, particularly those focused on empowering youth and promoting their active involvement in addressing global issues.
