Held in Budapest, Hungary: The joint Egyptian-Hungarian Committee for Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation launched Today at the Expert Level, led by the Ministry of International Cooperation
Today, the joint Egyptian-Hungarian Committee for Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation began at the expert-level in Budapest, Hungary, headed by the Ministry of International Cooperation from the Egyptian side and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade from the Hungarian side, where areas of common interest will be discussed within the framework of Egypt's commitment to strengthen bilateral relations with Hungary across all areas, especially economic, scientific and technical cooperation.

In light of the partnership with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development: Minister of International Cooperation H.E. Dr. Rania A. Al-Mashat Witnessed Launch of the Green Economy Financing Facility Egypt II – GEFF Egypt II for the Private Sector in Egypt, worth $175 million
The Minister of International Cooperation and Governor of Egypt at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) H.E. Dr. Rania A. Al-Mashat witnessed the launch of the second phase of the Green Economy Financing Facility Egypt II – GEFF Egypt II and greening value chains for the private sector, with a value of $175 million. This comes as a result of the effective partnerships between the Government of Egypt and the EBRD to stimulate the participation of the private sector and increase its role in development efforts in Egypt.

Dr. Rania A. Al-Mashat met with the International Finance Corporation delegation headed by Cheick-Oumar Sylla, IFC’s Regional Director for North Africa; Aliou Maïga, IFC's Regional Director for the Financial Institutions Group (FIG) in Africa, Sandra Boumah, Director of Investments of Financial Institutions, Yasmine El-Hini, IFC’s Country Officer, Deputy to Country Manager, alongside a team from the Ministry of International Cooperation.
