During her visit to Singapore to participate in the “Transition Finance Towards Net Zero: Scaling Blended Finance” conference, the Minister of International Cooperation H.E. Dr. Rania A. Al-Mashat. met with Singapore’s Senior Minister and Coordinating Minister for Social Policies Tharman Shanmugaratnam, and on mechanisms for enhancing joint cooperation, and COP27 preparations.

$400 Million Secured from the World Bank Group to Develop Sustainable Infrastructure in the Transportation Sector & to Reduce Carbon Emissions

The World Bank Group (WBG) announced the approval of a $400 million development financing agreement to develop sustainable infrastructure in the transport sector in Egypt, supporting the transition towards low-carbon transport along the Alexandria–the 6th of October–Greater Cairo Area (GCA) railway corridor.
