Al-Mashat, Minister of International Cooperation, addressed the Fifth United Nations Conference on the Least Developed Countries, taking place in Doha, Qatar, from 5-9 March, with the participation of world leaders, representatives of the private sector, civil society, parliamentarians and youth to bring forward new ideas, obtain new commitments of support, and stimulate the fulfillment of the commitments agreed through the Doha Programme of Action. The conference is expected to announce specific initiatives and tangible results that will help address the challenges of the least developed countries.

A high-level visit of the Hungarian Prime Minister to the Arab Republic of Egypt was held in the framework of the joint Egyptian-Hungarian Business Forum, where the Minister of International Cooperation and Hungarian Foreign Minister chaired the closing session.

Péter Szijjártó, chaired the closing session of the joint Egyptian-Hungarian Business Forum, which was held yesterday, Tuesday, with the participation of Márton Nagy, Minister of Economic Development, as part of the activities of the high-level visit to the country. Earlier in the day, the Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán met with H.E. the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, and the joint declaration on the strategic partnership between the two countries was signed, which represents a framework for increasing the level of relations between the two friendly countries.
