Objective

Establishing a passenger terminal with an area of ​​40,000 square meters with a capacity of 4 million passengers annually and to serve low-cost airlines. The airport will have a capacity of 5 million passengers in 2023. This airport is the first environmentally friendly airport in the Middle East in response to the efforts working on reducing global climate change, and to install solar panels. It also contributes to saving energy by 50-75% of energy consumption, and uses Japanese technology to operate the airport with solar energy, a high air conditioning system, lighting and seevral other modern technologies.
