Objective

The rehabilitation of the Cairo Metro includes the renewal of the signalling system, telecommunications equipment, centralised control system, power supply, track repairs and the electrical and mechanical systems to provide additional capacity to accommodate an increasing demand, lower air emissions, protect the environment and enhance connectivity to support economic development and human well-being, with a focus on affordable and equitable access for all.
