The 1st Cooperation of its Kind with the Abu Dhabi Exports Office | Egypt and the UAE Sign a Financing Program Agreement to Finance Wheat Imports at a Value of $500 Million for 5 years

In light of the close relations between the Arab Republic of Egypt and the United Arab Emirates and to enhance development efforts and government measures to support food security, the Ministries of International Cooperation, Finance, and the General Authority for Supply Commodities signed with the Abu Dhabi Exports Office (ADEX), affiliated to the Abu Dhabi Fund for Development, a financing program agreement. The roundabout is worth $100 million for a period of five years, with a total of $500 million, with the aim of financing wheat imports. The agreement is the first of its kind with the ADEX of the Abu Dhabi Fund for Development.

31st Egyptian-Jordanian Joint Higher Committee Strengthens Close Partnership Between the Arab Republic of Egypt and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan

Yesterday, the work of the 31st session of the joint Egyptian-Jordanian Higher Committee, chaired by Egyptian Prime Minister H.E. Today, in Amman, Jordan, expert level preparatory meetings for the Egyptian-Jordanian Joint Higher Committee were launched. Held from August 5 to 7, the joint committee is held in light of commitment from both countries to strengthen relations in various fields, especially economic, trade and investment, to advance joint development efforts. This is in preparation for the convening of the higher committee, chaired by the prime ministers of the two countries.

This grant is one of the main components of developmental cooperation efforts between Egypt and Saudi Arabia, to provide direct and indirect financing to banks and intermediary institutions to fund MSMEs, promote inclusive and sustainable growth, and provide job opportunities for youth.

The Minister of International Cooperation H.E. Dr. Rania A. Al-Mashat chaired one of the committees for selecting female cadres applying for the “Women Lead For Executives” program, with the participation of Dr. Walaa Fouad and Dr. Raghdaa Youssef. This program is part of the "Women's Leadership School" programs implemented by the National Training Academy (NTA) , intending to develop skills and abilities for women in executive positions and enhance their experiences in the government and private sectors between the ages of 22-50. Many ministers, academics, and specialists participate in the committees that conduct qualifying tests for female cadres participating in the program.
