Objective

This activity supports the Ministry of Health and Population (MOHP) efforts to reduce the incidence of hospital-acquired infections through providing technical assistance to support the establishment of a national surveillance program for hospital-acquired infections and antimicrobial resistance. Covering 80 percent of eligible intensive care units in MOHP and University Hospitals, this activity also supports hospitals to prevent the transmission of these infections.
