Objective

This project overall objective is to enhance the competitiveness and growth of Egypt’s tourism sector to better absorb Egyptian and migrant labour. The first outcome is to promote positive perceptions of Egyptian and migrant youth on the Egyptian tourism labour market through a nationally and regionally aired TV programme launched in cooperation with the Egyptian government and private sector, and the second outcome is to increase the number of young Egyptians and migrants in vulnerable communities seeking livelihood opportunities as Chefs as a positive alternative to irregular migration.
