On 01/01/1947 , Indonesia has started to cooperate with Egypt.
The volume of Egyptian-Indonesian trade dramatically increased over January-May 2015 by USD663m compared to USD576m for the same period last year, marking an increase of 15%. Indonesian investments in Egypt have reached USD88,5m in the internal investment and free zones system, while Egyptian investments in Indonesia during the said period have reached approximately USD1,300,000 in craft sectors.

Indonesia provides training courses to Egypt in the agricultural field. The Minister of International Cooperation coordinated with the Ministry of Agriculture to nominate the trainees to attend the training courses.
