On 16/12/1992 , Uzbekistan has started to cooperate with Egypt.

A former Soviet Union state located in central Asia with the largest population in that area. Its main source of foreign currency is the exportation of natural resources such as oil and gas.

Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation Agreement was signed on 16/12/1992.

- MOU between the Egyptian Ministry of International Cooperation and the Uzbek Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations, Investment and Trade signed on 19\4\2007.
- MOU between the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Trade and Industry and the Uzbek Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations, Investments and Trade signed on 19\4\2007.
- MOU between the Egyptian Ministry of Investment and the Uzbek Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations, Investments and Trade signed on 19\4\2007.
- Cooperation Agreement in the field of capacity building of judges and exchange of experiences in the judicial field signed on 19\4\2007.
- MOU between the Central Bank of Uzbekistan and Banque Misr signed on 19\4\2007.
- MOU  between the Central Bank of Uzbekistan and the National Bank of Egypt signed on 19\4\2007.
- MOU between the Central Bank of Uzbekistan and Bank of Cairo signed on 19\4\2007.
- MOU between the Egyptian Ministry of Education and its Uzbek counterpart.
- Agreement between Banha University and Samarkand State University.
- MOU between the Egyptian Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation and the Uzbek Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation in Cairo signed on 5\5\2009.
- MOU on cooperation in the archives field between the Egyptian National Library and Archives and the Uzbek Central Archive in Cairo signed on 5\5\2009.
- MOU on cooperation between Suez Canal University and Samarkand State University signed on 5\5\2009.
- Twinning agreement between Cairo and Tashkent signed on 5\5\2009.
