Historical Background

The Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation Agreement between Egypt and Poland was signed in 1964. Current economic relations are regulated by the European Partnership Agreement signed in Luxemburg in July 2001 and the Alignment Protocol on the entry into force of the European Partnership Agreement for EU member states signed in December 2004. 

Sessions Held

Number of sessions: twelve sessions.
The first session was held in Cairo in 1965.

The last session was held in Cairo in May 1993.
 The following deeds were signed:
A Protocol for monitoring the use of loans provided by Poland and following up the main fields of cooperation namely:  industry, military production, electricity, energy, agriculture, tourism and maritime transport.
