The Asian Sector at MoIC has developed a program in coordination with the Indonesian Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Finance and Planning with a view to exchange expertise in the Indonesian developmental field and to become familiarized with success stories and lessons learnt in the field of ODA efficiency and external debt management. 
Coordination has been conducted with officials in the Indonesian Ministries of Finance and Foreign Affairs to finance the said program, in light of the Egyptian Minister of International Cooperation’s directives, during her visit to the Indonesian capital ‘Jakarta’ in May 2016 to attend the Islamic Development Bank’s (IsDB) annual meetings, to activate the cooperation portfolio with Indonesia and to prepare for the convention of the Egyptian- Indonesian joint committee to be chaired by the Minister, and within the framework of the Minister’s then-discussions with the Minister of Finance. 
In line with the program’s final preparations, the Indonesian Ambassador invited the Egyptian delegation for a meeting to express the Indonesian sides’ keenness on activating cooperation and exchanging experience in various fields. The Embassy set the delegation’s timetable for meeting with officials in the Indonesian Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Finance and Bank Indonesia (BI), given that the delegation will be accompanied by an official from the Indonesian Embassy. 
The delegation which was received and welcomed by the Egyptian Embassy and Ambassador Amr Moawad who wished the delegation success in its meetings and discussions with the Indonesian side.
